Highlights from the 2025 Annual Meeting
What an incredible gathering we had at our Annual Meeting earlier this summer! The energy was absolutely palpable as our Healthy Start family came together to celebrate our shared mission and chart our path forward.
We were thrilled to welcome our distinguished Guest Speaker, child development expert, Dr. Joanne Flanagan, who captivated the audience with valuable insights on early child development. Her expertise reminded us all of the critical foundation we help build in those precious early years.
We also had the privilege of hearing from one of our inspiring Healthy Start moms, Jaleesa, who shared her story with remarkable honesty and heart. Her real, refreshing, and beautifully raw account of her journey reminded us all of the strength and resilience that exists within our community. Her authentic voice perfectly embodies why we do this work every day.
Of course, we took care of important business too: successfully passing our budget and conducting our Board elections. These foundational steps ensure we can continue our vital work in the year ahead.
