Although Healthy Start is funded in part by the State of Florida, there is a critical need for private support. Nearly 93 cents of every dollar donated to Healthy Start is spent directly on women and their babies. Our State funds cover only half of every dollar invested in the care of pregnant women and newborn babies.

Healthy Start has made the difference of a lifetime for many families. But, we can’t do it alone. We need your support to reach our goal, ensuring a healthy start for all of our children.

Your support helps us prioritize funding for the needs of our families especially: wraparound services like Doula Care, Lactation Support, and Mental Health Counseling. Each dollar raised supports families locally in Pinellas County.
