Healthy Start is a home visiting program, which means that our highly qualified staff will visit with you in the comfort of your own home to offer personalized pregnancy and parenting education. Whether you’re expecting your first baby or welcoming a new addition, we’re here to support you every step of the way. Our compassionate team provides guidance on everything from prenatal care to newborn safety, and we’re always ready to listen, answer questions, and help you navigate this exciting but sometimes overwhelming journey. Because when it comes to caring for your baby, knowledge is power.
Our primary goals are to:
- Reduce fetal and infant mortality and morbidity
- Reduce the number of low birth weight and preterm births
- Improve maternal and child health developmental outcomes
