The Sweat Family was referred to Healthy Start Home Visiting Services after relocating to Florida from Alaska. There are 8 children in the home. Mrs. Sweat states her care coordinator opened her eyes more and taught her things she didn’t know. The childbirth and breastfeeding education Mrs. Sweat obtained inspired her to become a Doula and 2 weeks before delivering her baby she received her certification.

Mrs. Sweat stated “the Healthy Start Program is informative, supportive and motivating”.
